Anyone got a motorola?
I've dropped my down the loo. I'm due for an upgrade 28th Feb but can't last that long without the phone. I can have a new sim for free but need a short term loan of an old phone to put it in. :|
O2 have offered a reconditioned phone for £50.
If anyone has an old one, would it be pos.........

Cant the sim go into any phone, does it have to be a motorola. Cant help you but it might be easier for someone else if it doesnt have to be motorola.
Really feel for you Paula, would hate to be without my phone.

The sim should be able to go in any make of phone..sometimes the phone is locked to one service provider, but others are unlocked which means you can use any sim in the handset.
Personally I think O2 are having a laugh...a reconditioned phone for £50?!?!?!?
Have a look on ebay:
Here's some cheapies that would maybe tide you over until Feb's upgrade!

A really cheap phone!
Refurbished phone from O2 shop!
All those are ending soon!

I've tried it in other phones, the sim is a slightly different shape. I have only just thrown out my old phone in the pre christmas house blitze. Little efc had been using it as a toy, and I had a clear out.
I've lost some of my numbers that were stored on the phone, but the sim stayed dry, so thankfully, I still have alot of them.
Lord efc says just get a new one, don't bother waiting, but I hate to waste money when I'm getting a free upgrade soon anyway.
I've looked on ebay, nothing compatable and cheap at the moment.

You should be able to Paula. Any of those phones are cheap...and would do you for a month til you get your upgade.
I wouldn't buy a good phone and spend loadsa money if you were getting one free!
