Lemon Gras (Like Mardi Gras) Party Invite Thread
So it's happening.
It will be a 2 night party on Friday 5/18/07 and Saturday 5/19/07.
The entertainment line-up that has been confirmed thus far includes yours truly with my drummer Dirty Jim, Greg (your friend G-Man) and all the way from England, Mr. Mark Wright will be performing as well. And this list may grow as we get closer to the show.
We'll have a couple kegs and just do BYOB for booze. It will be a party to remember.
It's happening at Barb's and my house in beautiful, sunny Southwest Florida, a great vacation destination without the Bruce party.
I'm putting this out there far in advance in the hopes of most of us being able to figure it out. From what K2 has posted on Greasy Lake, Bruce won't be touring until the fall so there should be no time conflict there.
Ok, we do need to get a head count though so please post RSVP's on this thread.
I can't wait to see everyone again. Year after year just keeps going by without us getting together like we did 3 years ago. Everyone knows about Raisin's recent deal and Billy just had a heart attack. At some point we won't be so lucky to all be able to come. I say let's do it in May.

Found a 3 star midscale hotel on Hotwire in the Ft. Myers Gateway are approx. 7 miles from your place for $56
From what I've read of the area, this is a good jumping off point if people want to go shelling on Sanibel. Although I think I read it's like $6 one way to cross the bridge into Sanibel.
Being a local, what would you advise for accommodations?
What's the weather like that time of year? Too cold to go swimming then?
