Paula efc won't be there to guide you, but I highly recommend a trip to Liverpool to see the urinals at The Philharmonic pub. Honestly, they were impressive! Have a great trip!

If I do the Paralympic Games I will be there end of August & first week of September so I'll miss you unless I get a chance to travel down one day. Bath and Stonehenge are very nice to visit! It would be fantastic to meet you both x

I realize that everyone thinks Stonehenge is boring, and I'm sure I'll feel the same way. That doesn't mean I don't want to see it, considering what an impressive feat it was to construct.
You have to remember that we Americans consider 1950's dining sets "antiques." We do not have loads of old stuff just lying about around the country, because we are only 200 years old. Which is actually your fault, because it took you bloody Europeans long enough to find us!

America is actually a little older than the US.
We sent out folks to find something way before 1492, but these guys were so disgusted from what they found that they said the earth was flat and you´d fall from the edge if you came to close to what would be America.

I thought it dated from about 1777? Out of interest; you Americans- where do your ancestors come from? Lara? I would love to know. I keep forgetting America as we know it is such a new place. Are any of you Dutch or Irish or indeed English? Wish my granparents had emigrated there in the 1920's instead of just coming over to London

We visited Stonehenge as an excursion between our visits to Cornwall and the Cotswolds, and it was fantastic to see. I'm sure you'd love it, Lara.
