We have to do some more looking but I think I found something we could both agree on. It's a parcel of property on the other side of the river with great river views. It's close to the boardwalk, the bike paths and it's even a bit closer to my favorite hospital emergency room.

I doubt that Canada would ever allow me to move over there. I would move there if I could.

The place I was talking about was across the road from the river in the US. I did a drive-by and couldn't see any river view from that particular property. Real estate agents lie a lot.

I've changed plans since I wrote that. I am paying double or triple of the principle on this house each month to pay off the mortgage as quickly as possible. I am also improving the house with mostly cosmetic changes. New appliances, wood flooring in the one room that doesn't already have it, granite countertops and a total re-gut and re-model of one bathroom etc. I am good at that kind of stuff.

I don't know when the housing market will recover in Michigan and it will probably be years before we move but the last thing I ever want to have to do is to hand over money at a closing. I am used to making money when we sell real estate.

I have one more move left in me and that will be to Oak Island in NC or Tybee Island in GA.

Also, I hate taking the Sombra Ferry over to Canada. They always yell at me for some reason. Same thing with the ferry to Harsen's Island. Both of those ferries make me very nervous.

I am a bit superstitious to even say this but I think the Tigers can go all the way this season. Verlander absolutely stuns me with his pitching. He is amazing to watch.

I stayed away from watching the games for two years after they traded Curtis Granderson. Initially I was only going to boycott the Tigers for one year over that but it lasted two years.

Did you see the game a few days ago when Magglio was using his jersey to cover his mouth and nose? One of the announcers said "What is going on in the dugout?" and the other one said "I think it's pretty clear that someone let loose with some gas." He was cracking up and he almost lost it. It looked like Miguel Cabrerra was the offender. That guy can't field for [email protected]#$ but I guess he's pretty good at floating SBDs.

Certainly they should win the AL Central, the upgrades with Betamit and Delmon Young, plus JV's magic, has pretty much assured that. And the acquisition of Fister (traded for Furbush, on the same staff as Below, have fun with that) has made them a legitimate threat to win playoff series against NY, Boston or Texas.

Filled with facts and always clever, lordstan. We can take those teams. Really enjoyed RaMon SantIagos walk off home run tonight. He is so sweet.

Keith and I got up and were jumping up and down, high fiving and yelling when Ramon hit that shot. Peapod is over (been here since Saturday) and she told us "You two get way too excited over baseball."

Peapod is learning a lot here. I told her that I was giving her tons of useful factoids today; her reply was "Yes, almost too many."

Peapod was just forced to watch multiple Bruce Springsteen videos with me. At first she said "Your music sounds 'old' and I suppose Bruce is good looking for someone of 'your' age." emoticon 3 videos later and Bruce was pulling a girl onto the stage and Peapod murmured "Wow, she is LUCKY!" Now the Pod wants to watch an entire concert on the TV. emoticon

My work here is almost done.

Lara, I can't really be bothered to repeat that long story since I discovered that medical marijuana really does work for nausea and pain. It takes me twice as long to type now.

The only problem with the delicious confections is that I never know exactly how they will affect me or how much to eat of one. My in-laws invited themselves over for dinner a few weeks ago (only gave me a 1/2 hour notice) and I had had a little nibble of a confection before they phoned. I felt it was evident that I was high so I had to confess to my sister-in-law. She said she thought I was acting just fine until I confessed.

My mother and father-in-law were a hellovalot easier to be around that day. I wish this stuff had been legal 22 years ago!

I plan on nibbling on the delicious baked goods until my Dr.s figure out what is wrong with me. I had the Michael Jackson drug yesterday (can't see the appeal) and then the gastroenterologist shoved a tube down my throat and took photos of my esophagus, stomach and duodenum. I guess it only took about 10 mintues; I don't remember anything after they shot the MJ drug into my vein. When I woke up she showed me the pictures. I have a large stomach ulcer (I already figured that). I would like to blame that on Mr. Bickerson but I think it is due to trying to use ibuprofen for pain. I still plan on telling Mr. Bickerson to knock it off when he is nagging me about something..."You are making my ulcer bleed, Mr. Bickerson!"

My gastroenterologist said the ulcer did not explain all of my symptoms and she took various biopsies but I won't find out about those for almost a week. I don't think those will show anything. I wanted to tell her that she needed to do an Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, a CA-19-9 blood test and a CT scan with contrast but I just met her yesterday and I thought I was a bit too early to start telling her what to do. My symptomology is quite classic and I don't see the need to have any arse invasion type scopes nor do I need to stick my legs in any stirrups (prefer ones that are on a saddle) and display my peek-a-chou.

The anesthesiologist was interviewing the pre-op patient ('older' lady) in the bed next to me and Keith and I couldn't help but to over hear the conversation. The Dr. kept trying to impress upon the patient that she needed to quit smoking. She said "I am trying to quit right now." The Dr. asked "When did you have your last cigarette?" and she said "Around 7:30 this morning." LOL. After about 10 minutes she told the Dr. "You know, I can't hardly hear you. Come up to the front of the bed and talk to me." Keith and I were dying trying to suppress our laughter.
