I've been with Keith for over 20 years (for the most part) and he has had one constant rant for most of that time. And no, it is not related to sex (though I hear about that a lot as well).

We could talk about YOUR wishes on this very topic.

We could talk about that but it would be a short conversation!

I´m sorry for you. emoticon

This sounds like a good plan. After a winter with so much snow I can not blame you. Of course I would love to see you move to cal, but heck, I may end up in the Carolinas someday anyway!

I already said that California was tops on my list! I just can't afford to purchase a home I would like there!

It would be really nice if you and I were ever on the same coast!

Wow- houses are really good value over there!!

How are you Di? xxx

You get more for your money in the south according to my research. Especially in a buyer's market.

Homes in the US are a good value (period) compared to England! I don't know how anyone can afford to buy over there. I couldn't believe what they wanted for a 2 bedroom flat in Brighton. 300,000 pounds for not much of anything.

You should not have asked me how I am, Karen. I am tempted to be honest in my reply. My health sucks severely right now and has not been good since September.

I can't even figure out what the hell is wrong with me. Usually I already have a diagnosis in hand before I go to my Dr. but I am stumped this time! I usually do his job for him but I don't know where to start here because nothing 'fits'. I've just put myself into his hands and though I love him he is not a brilliant diagnostician. He's had me on the crazy-ass Prednisone roller-coaster for my arm (the least of my problems). I hate that medication. Crazy train.

I would like to tell my Dr. to just order an MRI of my entire torso. Something is causing rather constant kidney/ureter pain but I don't think it has a damn thing to do with my kidneys. There are no other signs of kidney disease, kidney failure or even a slight infection. I think there is something else present elsewhere that is putting some pressure on that area. Ovaries? Pancreas? Liver? I don't have a clue. Something is not right. That is all I know.

I'll figure it all out sooner or later. I just have to wait for one penny to drop to put the pieces together.

My Dr. did refuse to euthanize me on my last visit. He said I would have to go to Europe for that. Then we got into a discussion about Jack Kervorkian and the film "You Don't Know Jack." (he brought it up). He said he had not seen it and I told him he should watch it just for Al Pacino's performance.

I am becoming such good buddies with my Dr. lately. He has seen me about every two weeks lately and I feel like I have gotten to know him so much better than I have in the past 30 years. We chat about crazy crap and laugh a lot. We talk about dogs and remote controls that will be able to change the TV channel just by you thinking of what channel you would like to watch. We both struggle with new technology.

He offers me pain pills and I say no to them. They don't work for me. I will only ask him for something to help me sleep. At some point I may want what Michael Jackson was getting from his Dr. (general anesthesia) but I know my Dr. won't go there.

Oddly enough, I have not yet told my Dr. that I have noticed his 'sweater vest' addiction and I could take him shopping to get him out of that if he liked. I suspect he likes his comfort zone and would feel awkward in anything other than a sweater vest.

My Dr. has the best laugh. It's spontaneous and it's between a giggle and a laugh. His curly hair shakes when he laughs.

The man never ages though his patients do. I just recently realized that I am always the youngest person in his waiting room. Pretty soon all of his patients will die off.

It cracks me up when they pull my chart. It's in a manilla folder that is about 5 inches thick and it must weigh over 3 pounds. 30 years full of my minor and major complaints and that includes years and years where I did not visit him at all.

Oh, I am feeling so fond of him right now! Even though he doesn't know what is wrong with me. I am going to phone his staff tomorrow and ask them if he has a sweet tooth (I bet he does, he is thin) and make him a ton of cookies and treats.

How are you doing, Karen? I don't like face book and prefer to keep in contact with people here.

Well I think a scan is a good idea- go get one Mrs!!! Sorry to hear you are feeling rough. xxx

I am fine thanks; bit pissed off and grumpy with some people/ situations but basically well and happy :) Having some family concerns but they are being dealt with. I don't feel like I spend enough quality time with anyone in my life- hubby, kids, parents, friends...it seems there are always about ten people I am neglecting at any one time and that bothers me a lot. Right now I am very wrapped up in the one family member who is causing concern and that means everyone else is taking something of a back seat and I hate doing that to people. But there's nothing I can do. It's all consuming right now.

I also still find at the age of 40 that I can't say no to people so end up with a hell of a lot of visitors at inopportune times. I love people and love to see them but ...god I sound awful don't I. Well I am. But sometimes I just wish the world and his mother would not turn up unannounced and then stay for hours. Told you I'm grumpy :)

Hope you get that scan soon and hope you find your dream house.

Diane, what about dislocated lumbar vertebrae?

Could be the mental pressure you are under is bouncing back on your back.

Thanks Martin. You are one of the people I feel I have been neglecting and I am so sorry. How are things? Any developments? Email me if you have any news, would love to hear it. I also have your second card here ready to post so could you remind me of your address? lol xx

Hi Karen, just seen this, I'll text you when I get 5 minutes tonight. But I don't feel neglected, so don't worry about that. No new news either. emoticon

I will also put in a jacuzzi the next time around as well. Just for you and Keith, Ramona. I don't like being that hot.

I LOVE YOU! Hey, there is nothing better than going back and forth between the pool and jacuzzi! It's great for the circulation and feels sooooo good. I miss that so much. Let me know once you've settled in and I'll book a flight emoticon emoticon emoticon
