Some useful info:
1. If you are the first poster at the top of a page, you are considered Page Queen/King. You have the option of declaring a decree.
2. There are no accents: we all talk and sound the same. Of course, since everyone wants to be from Jersey, and there are only a select few that are, we just pretend we all have an accent. So don’t be surprised if you see “awl” for “all” and “cawfee” for “coffee”. We all just fake it.
We tend to use acronyms quite often:
APCEG - Austin Pit Crew Educational Group.
A large percentage of thE Crew works in the education field... from selling school furniture to teaching and counseling.
DB - Death Beetle aka Buggly. Melz' yellow volkswagen that takes Wombats for the ride of their lives.
DD - Drunk Dial, or more accurately, Distance Dial - when someone calls from the concert to let another hear what is being played.
DG - Domestic Goddess
HO - Home Owner
IAP - Italian American Princess aka Sandy (my daughter)
MWNB - Man with no balls aka (pussy whipped) Freddie (my EX)
PA - Positive Affirmation {LV}
PB - Psycho [email protected]#$ aka Guy (the live-in girlfriend)
PBS (Political Bull$h!t) - negative comments on our leaders are not allowed on this thread
RB chair - rich b!tch chair; comfy chairs found in Starbucks from which one cawls others (really just Tree)
RPOGF - Red, pissed off grumpy face

Ok, the backstory...
I went CD/DVD hunting in Portland's Maine Mall on Tuesday. I could not find what I wanted and the guy in FYE offered to get the discs for me. When I explained that I could not collect, he advised me to try Newbury Comics, a New England chainwhich sells music and films and which was outside the mall.
To cut a very long story short, I already have the 3CD Essential but I could not resist thisat $7-98 and I took it to work here the next day.
The story
When I arrived, a guy who has been working with my colleagues asked me "Are you the Springsteen fan?"
He said that he had worked on the remasters when Bruce's early albums were first transferred to CD and he asked if I knew of Bob Ludwig.
Of course, I said yes, had a thought, pulled out my new CDs and found a nice dedication to Bob in the liner notes.
Bob had performed the remastering. My new friend had then created the glass CDs from the master CDs, the next stage of the process.
I had another idea, more of a question really, and so my new friend has taken my new liner notes to get Bob to autograph them. I should get them back when the guys who I have been travelling with return home in a week.
Not quite in Beth's league but not bad!

NICE martin! thanks for not keeping me pondering over this today lol...
seems your trip was worthwile , even though you did not get to go to a bruce gig..
well, tis friday... a new chapter has started, it is a grey day in holland, but as my very tired hubby said this morning... tomoroow is saturday.. we can do whatever we want... I did not have the heart to inform him of the two birhtdays we have to attend, nor the grocery shopping.. But when he left he grinned and said.. well sunday will be all to ourselves, i just realised we have to birthdays to attend to tomorrow..

errrr..made a real long post last night and it vanished once I hit submit.... silly hotel internet connection.... kicked me out~
Wow... take a day off to recuperate (thaw out) and I come back to a whole new chapter! You are so on the Ball lil QueEnie!! It took me til 7am to thaw out after Wed nite.. really... I'm pretty sure I fell asleep still shivering... and woke up with a wicked migraine after that... under so many blankets I could hardly move... I'm used to a heated water bed and 2 blankets at the most on a really cold night...to have 7 layers on me, wow... when my legs cramped up, it took me forever to be able to stretch them back out... ouch!!
Oh well... it was worth it.....

Last night I went down to Matawan and hung out with TDiegoAllesandro of SR.com.... we had some fun.. I sang Karaoke... ugh... I did apologize once I got up there.. see,ms the crowd was plenty drunk... they liked it and made me get up and do more... which was Really weird to get calle dup not knowing what song I was suposed to do.... Eeeeek! but still.. fun~
I did Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive.... hell, why, not.. the story of my life!
Before I went out though.. I did have to alter some of my weekend plans as a group of us got some sad news... Dont know if any of you know JimJudd.. . from the original BS.net.... anyway... his name is Rich... he is a really cool sweetheart of a guy and he lives here in NJ.. always really good to any Bruce Buds! I txtd him on my way up to find out his plans.. of course he'll be there, it's his Home show... But NO.. his dad fell gravely ill.... and he was needing to spend time with him... Well, his dad passed away yesterday.., so not only will he miss all the final shows at GS.. we are all scrambling to see what we can do to be at the services~
If y'all got some PA,can you sent it Rich's way??
if you were at SBS 04, he and hjis wife Bernie were there ... Rich made a bunch of T shirts for the raffle. Such a sweetie~ I really hate this for him!
Ok.. today I'm gonna run and pick up Spy and Aubby from EWR and take them over to the stadium.... lets hope we do not freeze or get wet tonight!!!!
