No worries; I never thought you were; I know many "micro-managers" whose employees hate them. I hope (so far) I'm not one of those.

Off to OKC for a 3 day MANAGER training, as coincidence would have it. I am taking my computer. Will report if anything exciting happens in the City! It's going to be cold as blazes!

Re: ThE Austin Pit Crew..... Chapter 5 (2009)

sorry... forgot about teh mask part of that post.... been dealing with a sinus headache all day....

the mask i pulled out yesterday I think actually came withmy spacer that i use with my hand held inhaler ( called an MDI in some circles) (metered dose inhaler)
but all that breathing stuff is pretty interchangable~ the mask slipped right onto where the mouthpiece fits on the nebulizer...
usually you just hold the mouthpiece between your teeth, but I was wiped out last night and wanted to be able to breath thru my mouth and nose, that's where the mask came in handly~
the nebulizer is probabally what you are referring to Dar... a machine that turns the liquid drug into a mist that you inhale....

The MDI inhaler is the most common thing... small pertable and works for most people... when that does not keep things under control, a nebulizer is often prescribed... the meds tend to get further into the lungs since it is diluted and given over about 10 minutes~

for us visual peeps:

Re: ThE Austin Pit Crew..... Chapter 5 (2009)

Carrie, it does sound like you need to have a nebulizer on hand for days when your inhalers aren't enough. The catch 22 situation is that you need to have it set up almost before you need it. By the time you feel too weak to use your inhaler you will struggle to set up a nebulizer. But it is a lifesaver and it is typically kind of Dar to offer her Mom's to you.

How interesting - I didn't know that could be an indication that I'm fighting something off. I always wonder what allergens I've encountered and should be avoiding. Although, I did take a Cold-eeze Sunday morning because I felt like I had a cold. Those things really help me with cold symptoms. I think I'll buy some orange juice too.

JukE~ I read recently that it is much, MUCH better to eat oranges than drink juice. Buy yourself some oranges instead!
