Re: 12/02/07, Mannheim, Germany, Setlistwatch
Good morning.
So, we just came home and I had a cigarette and opened a good bottle of beer, and I say good because the one I had in Mannheim was [email protected]#$. Where to start.... at the end I think...
Watch the screens at the end of the show. Show closer as usual was American Land and we all know that it is sung very fast. It´s caraokee for beginners these day. Lyrics are scrolling down the screens. Sing along if you still have some voice.
We loved the show. It was great, full of energy as usual. I haven´t been that up high before. Both emotionaly and sitting. It´s been an ice hockey arena, stage was one third and we were sitting at the middle line, right undeneath the press area. The press guys were on the floor trying to get some decent pics, so we had no one behind us. Easy to get up and dance and rock and feel cool and NOT desturbing anybody behind us. I had wished for some songs that would never be played, like Zero and blind Terry (my second name) or 4th of July and Incident, but I never thought it could happen (except maybe for Incedent), but after yesterday´s show, Santa Claus would have been priceless. But that must have been a treat for Arnhem because of the one day delay.... it was not... it was great...
in the end, the crowed and the show could have been a bit more Spanish or Italian (though there have been quite a view hot blooded Europeans) but it was one hell of an E Street blast.
I´m glad to take my godson to Cologne on Dec. 13th.

When PB called me to listen to Santa Claus, Bruce played my ringtone, which is...
So he played ID for me.
