concert reviews and setlist update...
hey to all of our posters who keep the site going...
I am thinking of temporarily moving this section to 'The new album' part of the board, and combining the two setlists thread, one which I started in haste (but with good intentions! :)
I am all about the organization.
any thoughts?

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
Do you think you could just leave it here, Spacebuggy? It has always been its own whole section, easily found on the main menu. I think it would be too confusing for people if it moved. Most of us are too old to have grown up with computers, so we still find it a bit mystical when we get where we want to be on one! There you go - Magic! It's right here! :D

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
I appreciate what you're saying, jukebox.
I will have to give it some thought.
what if we just drop the 'setlist' for the time being and leave it where it is?

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
One other thing to keep in mind Miss Spacebuggy is that if you go back to the 2nd and 3rd pages in our section you will see Seeger Session Band Setlist watches for every show.
Many people who only post once in a while come to our section for the setlist watches. This tradition goes back to 2002 !!! Why confuse things?
Also, please bear in mind that this board was created to mirror our old home on BS.net. I'm pretty sure it was intentional.
I( vote that nothing changes and especially so un-necessarily and the old if it ain't broke, don't fix it rule be imposed.
My humble 2 cents ma'am.

Heidi, I appreciate that what you're proposing is much more logical than the current set-up, but I agree with Nick's "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sentiment. People usually post their reviews on the setlist threads, so I'm not sure they can be separated anyway (because people will probably do what they're used to doing).

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
SIGH!
just kidding.
I understand, and I'll move the posts here, and that will be that.
I have room for one more forum, so I'll put a ticket section in the Magic Album part. The whole idea is to make everything easy to find and, like you said, that has been achieved.
thanks for the input!

I am still thinking of moving this thread to the New Album section, only temporarily, but I will let you know beforehand you can expect it.

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
Thanks for not moving the "older" threads to the new section, SB.
It would be like coming home and finding they moved your house into a new neighborhood.
With the Magic Tour being a Band tour, I think there may be a chance where some new "homes" may start.
If you need to do some housekeeping, may I suggest that there are some threads that could be archived, even though they are not 300 pages.
We don't need those birthday threads and a few others anymore.
Again...

Re: concert reviews and setlist update...
Wow...I am really surprised to wake up and see our home moved. What happened to the democracy?
So even though the occupants don't want it moved, the section gets moved anyway? That's a democracy?
Sounds more like totalitarian rule to me. Oh well, I will go with whatever everybody else wants.
It just sucks that it doesn't seem to matter what everybody else wants. It only matters what Spacebuggy wants.
5 years of tradition...gone. Because our current leader is out of things to change on our site. Organization is an excuse. We were already organized and have been for a long time.
Now the confusion begins.
Nothing personal Miss Spacebuggy. Just my 2 cents.
