I'm not so sure no one noticed. I barfed in my napkin, think it was discreet. No he did not join in. Guys at wok made me feel better. Told me raw oyster stories to match mine. Although I don't think they ate them at a posh wine country restaurant on NYE.
I'm so horrified

Was just catching up here. I had to laugh, not so much what happened to you sfc, rather how you wrote it that was funny.
I think I would rather throw up than have something that happened to my best friend a couple years ago when she was out with her boyfriend. He loves her still. In fact they ended up going through with their wedding. That's true love

What else can you do but laugh. He said I'll hear about it from his friends for some time. I deserve it. But they better get it in before I do. I'm sure it was the oysters. I heard that the Russians drink vodka with caviar for a reason. To kill it!

I don't think I could do raw oysters. That alone would make me heave, though I'm sure people love them and squid, clams, etc.
I love seafood, just can't eat anything raw.
