haha... sure I can, Kit. i don't see that one used so often, anyway.
thanks for bringing all of the issues here, mayyourhope. you add to the site in huge ways. a question... has betenoire posted on the site under that name before? I do not see that user name in the members list. I'll tell you a funny about runboard...we can only change our name to something that has the same number of characters as our old one. For example, I used to be punchbuggy, now I am spacebuggy. So, if she is trying to change her name, then she will only be able to do so if it fits in that way. I don't know why it works that way, but that's the way it is.
If that is not the case, then I suggest that she create a new member with the name she wants. If she still can not manage, I'll contact runboard support to find out what we can do about it.
geez, sorry about my lack of capitals. at work everything is in all caps and I can't ever seem to slow down with my typing long enough to hold the shift key down when I'm not there. Lazy typing, just because I can, I suppose!
a fly-swatting smiley is on it's way. I'll spend some time on that tomorrow.
hey KZ... if I had more room for smilies I would add all of the ones you suggest.

Whatever...thanks for tryin' to advocate for us wennies, weenies, but I don't think it's gonna help us. Me thinks that Punch is too busy, doesn't care truthfully about the "needs" of the Swamps community (just kiddin' Punch...about "our needs," LOL) though...we've been askin' and askin' now for awhile for some different smilies and to get rid of some of the ones that are never used and nothin' is done. PB/KZ even took an "official" poll a while back about the smileys and you didn't take notice. You like your inbox being "empty" for administrator "duties," that's cool, I think we would all prefer our in-boxes @ work to be empty, when it comes to work.
Martin seems to be the only active person "in-charge" here, so how about turning the reigns over to him? It's not as though our board really needs "moderating," as there's really little to moderate, so-to-speak. How about turning the admin over to someone whom is active and listens to it members??...even if it is the small stuff. 
Just thinking that Martin would get things done...as small as they might seem to you and possibly others. It's OKAY to not have time to be administrator of a forum/discussion board and no one would hold this against you..if you were to say.."Folks..I just don't have time for this anymore."

Also Punch, I don't mean to beat a horse to death, nor do anyone of us, none of us would ever beat an animal to death in the first place. "Beating a horse to death," is simply a phrase. Several of us, okay..maybe just a few alright, have been asking for ages to have this smiley removed and replaced with a better one and yet...this one remains. I can understand if you are fond of this smiley, for some unknown reason okay, but a few here can't stand it (I'm one of them) and will opt for using : ) or LOL instead.
Please get rid of this one and replace it with the one of the laughing out loud smileys that PB/KZ has offered in it's place...okay?

It's very kind of you to have so much faith in me, Steph, but I don't have the time or probably the talent to do what Punch does behind the scenes - there is more to this than meets the eye.
I have only just spotted Heiko's suggestion about doing away with  - proof that I am not 100% on the ball - that one can not go, it has been adopted as the official emoticon of the APC (Austin Pit Crew).
