HEY! Last time I saw Ryan he was bathed, well-groomed and had the scent of bananas to him!
Maybe he does it for you. Every picture I've ever seen of him, he just looks like he smells like something even patchouli can't cover up.

Faron, loved the posting of Ryan's ramblings! Am I to understand from that that the dear genius, Ryan, has been sober for 6 months?! :holy: Good for you Ryan! I had worries for your health. May you live a long life and may you continue to write music and lyrics that find their way into my soul. And may you continue to sing them like an angel as well.
I don't know about Ireland, Jill, but everywhere Ryan played in England last February was sold out. People were outside literally begging everyone for an extra ticket and there were none to be had!
NO comparison between the soppy Disney song writer and Ryan!
Sorry Di..have to disagree with you on that.
When Ryan's going as long as Bryan, then I will give him some respect!

I think Ryan's body of work is far more impressive than Bryan's to date.
You have to admit that Summer of '69 is a sweet ass song, though. ADMIT IT!

Re: Happy Birthday Mr. Adams!
I wonder how many albums they have each released? Bryan has been around a lot longer than Ryan in years, but I bet they are not that different in album releases. Shoot, Ryan put out three albums in 2005 alone!
Most Americans still don't know who Ryan is and would confuse him with Bryan. I am not a huge Bryan Adams fan, but don't have anything against him -- some of his more rocking stuff is pretty good. I like Ryan Adams a lot -- the "Cold Roses" record is fantastic. I also like "Demolition" a lot -- "Starting To Hurt" and "Cry On Demand" are great. I also have some great live stuff from him provided by a wonderful benefactor (you know who you are: XOXOXO to you!).

Re: Happy Birthday Mr. Adams!
When Bryan Adams moved to London, he bought a house next door to a pub. He got fed up with the noise so he ended up buying the pub just so he could close it down.
