Gov't Mule tonight!
And, boy, am I excited! I am seeing Warren and the boys at the Palace in Louisville (remember the Tom Waits show there, Phage -- of course you do -- it was the greatest day of your life!). The new Mule CD, "High & Mighty" is their best one since "Dose." I am on full rock gale force alert! Rock!

Re: Gov't Mule tonight!
Cool man. I too like the new Mule. I was really getting into their stuff a few weeks back. That first "Deep End" CD is quite good, hell all of their stuff is worthy.
Enjoy the show (like I know you're going to)
P.S. I'm putting on the new one right now in your honor.

Re: Gov't Mule tonight!
Been listening to "High & Mighty" here at the desk this morning. That is a fantastic record. If you dig serious, musical, deep, hard rock with a southern flavor, check it out. Reminds me of "Physical Graffitti" era Zeppelin in some places.

You know I thought that myself (I kid you not) I can't remember which song it was but I was thinking this sounds a little like Zeppelin it had that Zeppelin stomp to it.

Hell yeah, Warren has a cool voice and can rock out on guitar. I've been into his work since I saw him with the Allman Brothers Band way back when.

Re: Gov't Mule tonight!
You should check out the Mule, Frankie. I think they might be right up your alley. The new CD is a great place to start.
I am a huge Warren fan, Sunflower. I have seen him live more than any other artist (6 times with the Brothers, 3 times with Phil, and now 2 times with the Mule).
The show was great last night. Donovan Frankenreiter opened and he was enjoyable. The Mule did two hour plus sets, concentrating on the new record mostly. They did a killer "If 6 Was 9" in the second set. Warren is a monster.
