Re: ThE APC: chapter 3

Congratulations, Sherry! Keep hanging in there and keeping that faith...hopefully this is just the beginning of many positive things for you and Sandy in this area.

Way to go, Carrie! I'm so glad you are making your work more "public".

Hey Martin... how cool is that... that was one of the papers we had delivered to my house as a kid... Dad read it every morning!

Re: ThE APC: chapter 3

 emoticon Way to Go Sher!!!!!
nothing like a little triumph to start your weekend....
I also agree on the 12.5 page document not being discarded as a good thing... if he does go for sole custody, you have that in YOUR court, as what's her name has been deemed a useles person in this case, and the MWB will be seen as just that... as if in he wasn't during that hearing! :)

sorry if I am making no sense whatsoever....
I wanted to go to bed early last night trying to catch back up after being sick mid-week, but got on the phone with Heartsie and well.. it was after 3 before I got to bed... and work called at 9, desperarte for a transport nurse...so I got up and when in, figuring on a 4 hour trip....6.5 hours later I was rushing home to hit the shower before my evening plans....he was already done with work and going to be one his way to the house any minute... we made dinner and watched a movie before a nap... then it was get up and get breakfast and stuff for lunch as he's already back at work for another weekend long set of shifts...
I'm goign to nap a while longer now and hit the gym, then.... pACK!
Oh hey... get this....somehow Bruce came up in conversation as we were making dinnr last night... and He sayas... Bruce is starting to grow on him... his favorite song... Happy...
so while doing the wee hours of the morning run around to get him ready, we listening to Tracks 4, and played Happy a few times over....
so if Happy is played... go ahead and dredge the Charles River for me... or Potomac if it's this weekend... or the Hudson... no wait... the Hudson is so polluted, I'll never sink....

okay... nap time...

Congrats again Sherry..... is it time for ... :chrs:

Re: ThE APC: chapter 3

Mornin'.

Foggy woggy.

Been over at Backstreets trolling for tour dates for Texas. I'm nervous. A lot of Texas dates mentioned are March 26-29. Not good for me. Not at all. Contest is the 27th. Prom (I'm a sponsor) is the 29th. If he comes to Austin, and I can't make it because of work, well....

This may drive me to follow Dar's lead.

 emoticon

Anyway, y'all apply some PA for dates where this resident APCer can make the date.

Y'all have a good Saturday!

Re: ThE APC: chapter 3

Good morning!

Sherry: At first I thought it would be best if "that" document was destroyed too. But now with all of this APC wisdom being released, it does make sense that it is still there. It definitely makes HER look completely and utterly ridiculous, stupid AND useless! Because you would never put something so crazy into the record, you shine!

Melz: Yday, I actually was feeling like I couldn't wait until the 20th. I just don't get this group of kids. I have written more referrals this year than in the last 6 combined. I have more kids below grade level than ever before. This is the most disrespectful bunch ever. I want to pour in the knowledge and I can't. I know I am suffering from burn-out. I know this was the right decision. Yet I feel like I am letting the kids down. Next weekend will be a crazy one as I try to tie up all the loose ends. Get things ready for the replacement. I do want it to be an easy transition for him/her and the kids. I have decided to get as much of my personal stuff out of there as I can. I don't think I want to teach middle school again; when I go back I want to be at the HS level doing that anatomy/biology thing. Maybe an algebra there, but mostly science. At least I've earned dual certification while at the MS level, so that will be a help for the future. Also heard something interesting yday. Homeschool parents pay a fortune every yr to have their kids take the state tests. Maybe I could administer those along with tutoring a bit. I am completely looking forward to this "new life".

Happy Saturday!
Please send DD's to DC from DC tomorrow!

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but do you know which subject home-schooling parents feel least adequate to teach? Math! Science is a close second, but I think they can fudge that much more easily than math. Around here, they all bring their kids to the community college to learn algebra. It's too bad they don't bring them here to learn reading and writing as well, but a lot of people think speaking English is enough preparation for teaching it. Anyway, I'll bet you could make a good living teaching math and science to home-schoolers. They have associations where they get together - maybe you could market yourself to the local one.

Re: ThE APC: chapter 3

Well... I'm sorry to say... the drama continues...

I tried to cawl Sandy Thursday night. Cell phone was off and no one returns a message on the house phone.
I tried to cawl Sandy Friday night. Cell phone was off and no one returns a message on the house phone.
I tried to cawl Sandy this morning @9am. Cell phone was off and Guy answers the house phone. I ask to speak to Sandy and Guy says she's not there (took a few tries b/c with her accent it sounded like she was saying "he's not here.") I ask when I can reach her and Guy says to call Freddie.
I call the store. MWNB tells me she is in Rhode Island since Thursday with the kid across the street. I point out that it would have been nice if someone had told me. {Silly mE: expecting information and co-operation from the PB & MWNB}

He then proceeds to argue with me FOR AN HOUR that the Judge had no right to tell him that he can't have Guy take Sandy to the doctor, dentist or make academic arrangements. Apparently the Judge did rule that Guy can make emergency medical decisions but wrote nothing about contacting him or me first. (He got his copy of her ruling y-day. I have to wait for mine by mail.)
He also claimed that the Judge ruled that I am not supposed to interfere with Sandy's discipline. I said that was true as long as part of that discipline was NOT forbidding her from talking to me every night. I think he reread the ruling and saw that it does state I am to have nightly phone calls. Period.
He claims he is still going to have a paper drawn up stating that Guy can take Sandy to the doctor and such... he doesn't give a damn what the Judge says. No matter how many times I said to him the problem was calling the PB Sandy's "Guardian" and that he did not limit her decision making power other to her marrying or being adopted. He says that I "misunderstood" the terminology." I said that was bullshit b/c Guy kept saying in those papers that she is the Guardian and can make the decisions.
It turns out he has never asked Guy to see those papers. Can you FRIGGIN' believe it?!?!
He has no idea what is in them except what I told him over the phone.
Then he "PROMISES" me he will see that all copies at the house are distroyed. Like I'm supposed to believe that.
We than had to get off the phone b/c he had a customer.

I then run around like a wild woman getting pACKed and take the dawgs to the kennel. It turns out they closed at 10:00, not noon, like I thought.
So I'm home. I'm trying to get a hold of Billy & LuAnn to see if they can watch the dogs, but it looks like they may be going camping.

I called Rais... but him & C are at the Spy Museum and he couldn't talk.

I just cawled Nicu... if I can't make DC, she's gonna see if BFG/Jackie wants my Sunday ticket.

I feel like crap. I have a headache. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves. Last night I dreamt that MWNB filed for full custody.

Maybe I'll lay down for a while...

I turn the radio up loud so I don't have to think...

 :rtswtch:

The MWNB is dangerously close to contempt. If he continues to pull this excretia, call the Judge and report it.

I also think the dawgs need a vacation. Get 'em in the car and GO!

You NEED this weekend, Sherry!
